El Sagrado Farm will once again be hosting retreats and conferences in 2025. In the future we will open our doors for family reunions, weddings, workshops and conferences and school groups on a limited basis. Our Retreat House can sleep up to twenty people. Colin Henderson trained under his mother Daphne Henderson, Cordon Bleu chef, in her french restaurant at the Inn at Mount Ascutney in Brownsville Vermont and then worked as a sous-chef at Hotel Alpenrose in Schonreid, Switzerland. He specializes in using fresh farm sourced products to make delicious vegetarian meals. He is available to cook for your events. If you are interested in booking an event let us know. Farm tours and horseback riding / classes will also be offered on special occasions.
El Sagrado Farm lies in the heart of the San Luis Valley. Be it Cross Country or downhill skiing in the winter, fly fishing on the Conejos River, Hiking in the San Juans or river rafting on the Rio Grande, this beautiful area has so much to offer. Fifteen miles to the south in Antonito Colorado is the scenic Cumbres Toltec Narrow Gauge Railroad. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is across the Valley to the North.
